Hello eveyone:
With one week until SAABs @ Carlisle 2002, we have idenified approx.
110+ cars, with almost 150 SAAB enthusiasts, who will be in attendance.
There are still several regulars we have not heard from, who just show up,
so it will undoubtedly be the best turnout to date.
Please look for your confirmation from Carlisle Productions, which
if you haven't received it yet, you will within the next day or so. Remember
that you MUST bring your confirmation card with you, in order to receive
your materials and goodie-bag upon arrival. Without your confirmation card,
you must pay to enter the showfield. We have covered much of the process to
checking-in, and I will again send out a complete run-down of what to do,
where to go, what to bring, etc. on Monday, so look for the next e-mail with
all of the details.
Eisenhauer SAAB has confirmed that the CPSC Boutique is a go.
Special thanks to SAAB USA for giving the O.K. to go ahead with this. Select
items from the SAAB Catalog will be on hand for you to purchase, and some of
the proceeds will benefit the Central Penn SAAB Club, to offset some of our
expenses for hosting the event. Cash and checks will gladly be accepted,
however we will not have the direct ability to take credit cards. There is a
credit card cash advance service provided by Carlisle Productions on the
premises, as well as an ATM machine if you need it.
Thanks to everyone who has responded concerning their dinner plans
on Saturday night, however we have yet to hear from quite a few folks. IF
YOU HAVE NOT RESPONDED CONCERNING DINNER (EITHER YES OR NO) PLEASE DO SO
SOON! We are at 54 for dinner which is trerrific, but we don't want to
leave anyone out, so your response is important.
I will ask Larry West to give us an update on the Friday night
cook-out, as we have had many inquiries as to what we are doing. If you
haven't responded concerning the cookout, and want to join us, please do
this promptly as well, and I will forward the responses to Larry.
