Well, at least one thumb down.
Was not impressed.
Took the kids to the 3-D IMAX showing, and the movie had enough inherent problems that it didn't need the 3-D adding to it. I basically found it distracting. My teenage son liked the movie, not so my wife, not sure about older daughter.
I definitely recommending waiting for the small screen.
This was only the second "modern" 3-D movie I've seen. The first was Avatar at the IMAX, and I was blown away, but that whole movie is basically CGI.
I wanted to see "The Life of Pi", Ebert raved about the 3-D effects. Unfortunately, waited too long. Maybe its release on Blu-Ray will be justification to get that new 3-D TV, perhaps a skosh bigger than my old 57" DLP. I keep waiting for that thing to fail, but Samsung built a good one.
