I get that all the time at car shows...ie. "Did you paint it?"
No I did not, is usually my reply. But I did spend three months doing major bodywork, and spent two days masking the car off properly to avoid over-spray, and spent 15 hours wet-sanding AFTER it was painted...and I did spend weeks installing all the parts back onto the car without marring the fresh paint.
I just don't have the equipment(large enough spray gun) and I get anxious when I start to pull the trigger....like I just want it to be over. I have sprayed door jambs and engine bays with no problem, but that is my limit.
Thanks for the link, Bret! I enjoyed reading it..... and I've been there, done that.
Blck and blue are mine....and maybe someday orange will be too.
