Paint steel wheels, hubs calipers

The black engine enamel/paint or whatever I sprayed on my calipers last fall is fading (only locally available caliper paint was yellow),
Think I also used that on the non-contact areas of my hubs (summer wheels are 3 spoke Vikings), looked good but also has rust coming thru.
Even worse, my steel wheels Rustolem cheapo job - didn't evel last untill winter when the wheels went on. Not looking for fancy here! good and black will do.
Been looking at POR15 and Eastwood products, wondering any testimonials here about durability? Not looking to use on any body panels (not yet, God willing). not so worried about 'stopping rust', but 'stopping rust from showing thru'.
Would love to minimize different prep products (perhaps why we;re having this discussion), I would use special caliper paint (ala Ea$twood) if needed.
No fancy colors, black OK. Pretty calipers are tempting, but probably no.
