There are only 2 or 3 major mfr's of clay bars in the US and everyone gets theirs from one of them. Griots bar is the same as Zaino, Pinnacle, and several others. Clay Magic makes bars for many other suppliers. I don't know where Meguiar's gets theirs but they aren't too good - too soft and mushy.
If you're a Griots customer and love their products, their bar is fine. 8 ounces is pretty generous, most bars are less than that. But the Griots price of $30 for the bar and the lubricant is pretty steep. You can buy a Clay Magic kit at AutoZone or WalMart for about $10. Mothers offers a nice kit including the bar, lubricant, and some cleaner wax for about $16. Find the Mothers kit at AutoZone or Pep Boys.
