The longer term solution to the brake dust problem would be to replace the brake pads with Akebono Ceramic pads when it is time to replace them. I recently replaced the front pads on our 2004 9-5 Aero (at 36,000 mile) with the Akebono pad and experienced a significant reduction in brake dust. Braking action with the Akebonos is fine, and supposedly they are easier on wearing the rotors.
