with a wild paint job, and he really made the thing "weep." McCartney played an acoustic guitar (left handed, of course) on some songs and, on this song, a grand piano. No Hoffner bass to be seen. There were several other Fender guitars and amps on display, too. I didn't see any Les Pauls.
Harrison's son (I think his name is Dhani) played an acoustic guitar most of the time (an unusual looking dark wood jumbo body with a not-round soundhole), and a Telecaster style guitar on a couple of songs.
I was unaware that this was the 50th anniversary of the Stratocaster. I guess I must not be as old as I think, since I was only two at the time.
