or bio-medical engineering. There are plenty of areas you could combine your current background. I assume you like computer, engineering, and biology. Otherwise, this is your chance to do something else, it's never too late.
Yes, talk to some one in your old school and email someone in the area you are interested in. You can get a lot information from the net as well as contact numbers or email addresses.
Check out bioinformatics, bioengineering, bio-medical engineering, medical imaging field is always interesting, also find out about computer animation field as well.
An MBA is an option but from your post, I think you want to do something a bit more specific and technical. You can always pick up an MBA later in life if you find the need.
