I moved to Austin Texas six months ago. In that time, I've had my fill of
Barbecue and Tex Mex. Tex Mex is too complicated to debate, but I _can_
tell you that just about the best place is Chuy's on Barton Springs.

I have some questions about Barbecue.

Is good smoked Pork Loin supposed to taste like Smoked Turkey? My first
taste of barbecued Pork Loin was at "County Line". I did not like it in the
least, but today, I had some Pork Loin at Rudy's and it was good. At
first, I thought the cutters had given me Turkey instead of Pork Loin.
Well, it was good.

Is Rudy's barbecue sauce the best in the entire universe? Is Pope
Catholic?

Should you cook with barbecue sauce? Heck no.

Cook with fat up or fat down? Fat up. I don't drink diet coke, I don't
eat fat free and I don't like lean meat. Yet, I'm still Randy and manage
to make the ladies meow (true story :-)

Is Pork Barbecue? Heck Yes.
Is Beef Barbecue? Heck Yes.
Sauce or no sauce? Sauce
Do Northerners know from barbecue? Heck No
