You will have more neutral handling in the dry and be able to kick the back end out on command in the snow. I have to be careful not to kick the rear end out in the snow. I keep the rear tires at the same pressure as the front in the rear per Nokian's suggestion (32 all aound for the snow). Seems that more pressure works better for the deep stuff and less pressure for the icy stuff. Just my unscientific observations though.
