next time it happens shut down and restart. go into the bios setup and check the time. if it is fast then overclocking is prolly a suspect. check sysinfo.exe to see if it concurrs with your expectations. for debugging run it at non-overclocked speeds and see what happens. maybe chedk underclock behaviour if you are a Software test engineer. be sure to check for latest bios release. maybe boot it to dos and run some old lame-o benchmark like "burn-in" at over clocked speeds. see what happens. give it 24 hours.
or maybe just find a freeware time keeper if sp2 jerked ya around.
