Failure to provide supporting deposition in NY state- Posted by IrieTom [Email] (#1032) [Profile/Gallery] (more from IrieTom) on Mon, 23 May 2005 08:17:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
This afternoon, I am scheduled to go to court for a speeding ticket I received in Coxsackie, NY back in March. I showed up in town court at the time/date indicated on the ticket, filed a plea of "not guilty", and requested a supporting deposition. Since then, I have received a letter (dated 4/22/05) notifying me of my trial date (today), but have not received a written deposition.
What should I do (or not do) to give myself the best chance of having the charge (70 in a 55) dismissed or reduced?
