ADD is the way we cope with modern life... Posted by Caarma [Email] (#592) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Caarma) on Mon, 26 Sep 2005 13:59:57 In Reply to: You sound just like me!, BrianG, Mon, 26 Sep 2005 13:28:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
or is it the fault of modern life? Look at what employers do to us and what we do to ourselves. We are asked and/or make ourselves to do too much at one time! Everything is complicated. The only way we can address everything is by constantly jumping around from task to task, project to project. When is the last time you were able to work on one task/project for even an hour without any interruption?
I have some of the ADD symptoms but I took a test and it said I didn't have it. Sometimes I'm not sure. I long for the simple life, but I'm 8 months from finishing my MBA part time at Michigan while I work and try to stay close to my family, maintain a house, date, stay fit, maintain two cars, partake in quite a few hobbies...
By the way, I read about some research that said that multitasking leads to short term memory loss.
