upgraded laptop with 60G drive

We have a older Dell laptop, 1 GHz processor, now 512MB. It has a high resolution screen, so we wanted to keep it going.
The old drive was 10G 4200 RPM. The new drive is 7200 RPM, 60G, 8 MB cache.
Used the Apricorn ez upgrade kit that includes a drive case, USB cable, software. Installed the drive into the case, booted laptop to setup and set CD to boot before hard drive, shutdown, inserted EZ GIG II CD which booted the system, copied from old C: drive to new drive, shut down, swapped new drive into the laptop and booted.
Everything worked perfectly. The laptop now boots way faster than before! Booting before would take forever to start things like the virus scanner software.
An eazy and effective upgrade.
