Portland ME or Portland OR?
Have you considered a delivery company? Yacht delivery services (I used to do this) have highly qualified (and USCG licensed) skippers and crews. It's worth getting a quote from one. But moving a boat is rarely cheap.
Assuming you mean Portland, ME, you have to get around the Keys but once you get up to the east coast of FL you can go offshore (faster) or on the Inland Waterway (slower, safer and will most likely require unstepping your mast).
This time of year you have to worry about hurricanes, so I can see why a truck would be preferable, but if you don't need the boat this fall you could wait until October/November when there is less chance of storms.
I don't know how they charge these days but could be per person/per day. Some do miles. Figure on a skipper and one person crew on a boat that size, their food, and airfare back to their home base. The trip would run 2-3 weeks depending on wind/weather. Most skippers are USCG licensed--look for something like "XX tons and under, power and sail" on the license. And call any references. The good ones will thoroughly clean your boat after the trip and let you know of any maintenance items you should know about.
