Is it just me, or have small displacement turbo...... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 12 Sep 2006 16:10:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Is it just me, or have small displacement turbocharged engines suddenly gotten very popular? I was reading my new Car & Driver the other night and I was constantly being surprised at mention of small displacement turbo engines being introduced by manufacturers whom I wasn't aware used this technology previously.
Examples: BMW twin turbo in the 3-series; new BMW Z2; new Acura RDX; Audi A4, GM's Solstice/Sky/GT triplets; Dodge Caliber; Mazda 3; Mazda CX7; Mazda 6; Volkswagon Passat (gas); Volkswagon Eos.
I am sure some of these already existed, but I don't think the rock I live under is so large that it has blocked all these cars.
