In Seattle, prices are still $2.60-2.80, but it's less than before. There are quite a few stupid reasons for the high prices.
Some include bizzare and restrictive city land use policies which make it hard for gas stations to open, including a discount station that's been fighting for a while.
The local refineries are geared for fuel from AK but the Senator and others want to restrict production. The local refineries are also restricted to export gas (except a little to OR).
This is crazy. Why can't we be like the other 40 or so sane states.
