There are some great opinions and recommendations in this thread. We have been drving 900s and 9000s for 20 years and I can't envision the day when they're gone. The 9000 is more civilized, and I have to say that my 97 Aero is such a wonderful car that I look forward to my commute every day. But as much as I love that car, I truely enjoy driving any of our 900's, from the base model 86 4 door to the 900T convertibles - they just don't make cars like these anymore.
Look out for rust, buy the best one you can find, keep it in tip top condition, and enjoy the ride.
