Well, hot Catalytic converters typically work better than cold ones, so it's smart to make sure the engine is up to temp. A C900 SPG should not have any problem passing emissions testing unless something is wrong with it. That's why they do the testing... to make sure that all of the car's systems are working properly.
I've heard of the water trick... it essentially steam-cleans the cylinders. I've also heard of putting carb-cleaner in the intake to burn out the whole system.
If your car doesn't pass, then check to see if it has a bad O2 sensor, or a worn-out cat, or a bad air mass meter, or something else. My guess is that it won't be an issue, just make sure the car is up to temp when it gets tested.
