Saab has always treated me right

When it's new car time, my wife flat out refuses to look at other makes of cars, but for reasons not totally based on driving a Saab, although she very much does. When we got our first new Saab almost 25 years ago, we were always treated fairly and above board concerning service and warranty matters, a point of contention with many other brands and dealerships at at that point in time. Naturally, since the GM thing, the belt has been tightened concerning warranty/service issues. However, I've been extremely satisfied over the years with my dealer who has always treated me fairly, even in these economic times. Two years ago I purchased a VERY nice extremely low mileage 9-3 Aero for my wife that was returned a little early from a lease. It was a CPO car and all was well. About 4 months into ownership, the car developed some electrical gremlins that basically caused the dealer to have the car in their possession the next 4 months out of 7. Lemon laws do not apply because the car was not purchased new. The dealer agreed that if the car was in fact purchased new, Saab USA would have to replace the car. After a number of polite conversations between the dealer, myself and SAAB USA, my purchase price was basically returned and applied to the purchase of a new 9-5 Aero. The purchase price of the 9-5 was further adjusted so I didn't even end up paying the full amount of the price difference between the two cars.....and I ended up giving back a 2 year old car and got a brand new one for no very much money out-of-pocket. Has this caused my wife to become even more of a fervent Saab loyalist?........you better believe it!!!! Are there alot of other nice rides out there?.....sure there are. This is the 2nd time I've dealt with SAAB USA and both dealings were absolutely to my satisfaction. On the other hand, I read horror stories on this board regarding dealing with Saab corporate. But, as long as I'm treated right, I'll keep coming back. The question remains, can Saab continue to treat people well in these harsh times.
