True... and a CARFAX report could also scare you away from a perfectly good vehicle too. My son was rear ended in one of my Volvos while driving down to Florida. Real minor accident, the rear bumper only required painting and the right rear tail light assembly required replacement. However, when you run the CARFAX on this car it shows an 'accident indicator' which could very easily scare someone away if I ever decided to sell it. I decided to keep the post-accident photos to show a future potential buyer, just in case....
