If all this behaves OK, but the clutch continues to drag, then it's inside the clutch itself. You'll have to remove the tranny & replace the clutch.
Likely scenario here is the clutch disk has worn thin but it's becoming warped, wavy, so it still makes contact when you try to disengage the clutch.
Less common, but clutch lining material can begin fraying off or even metal parts break & bend, so they continue to make contact when you disengage the clutch.
Either way, you gotta remove the tranny. Once you've done that, it's kinda silly to put an old clutch back together anyway.
