This is my line of work...and that looks like frame damage to me, I think it is a loss, It may be close but both panels are around 8 hours plus 8 hours paint so figure $600.00-1000.00, Deck lid $800.00 body/paint/part time does not include if they have to replace the the actual hatch/deck lid/ tail lights $230.00, rear bumper $400.00, $380.00 part/paint so you figure you are all ready at around $3000.00

Frame damage is going to be your biggest enemy! It could be $1300.00 or it could be $3000.00 depending on severity and what kind of mood your claims adjuster is in. Maybe express your love for the car and tell him it is a classic!?!

I totalled an 03 SAAB 9-3 SE with the viggen body kit the other day and it had NO body damage what so ever but the people just treated it really bad! No oil change bad MAF and DI cassette, torn convertible top, ripped seats, carbon dash peeling, bad tires, Viggen bumper scraped beyond repair, abs modual, traction control and the list goes on! cosmetics wise it was not that bad...but after I was done this $14,000.00 with only 40K is now worth $4000.00
