Does this seem legitimate? Posted by Clay McNeely [Email] (#497) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Clay McNeely) on Wed, 3 Feb 2010 12:28:31 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I recently received a response regarding the Sonett III I have posted for sale. Naturally, I've dealt with the overseas scammers in the past and simply don't give them the time of day, but this seems pretty legitimate. I've included some dialogue with the potential buyer below. I realize the grammar and command of the English language is certainly less-than-perfect, but I did receive a voicemail message from the potential buyer and he does indeed have a very genuine and strong Swedish accent. Anyone here have any experience with an overseas purchase?
Text excerpts from the potential buyer:
"I transfer money into your bank account, once you have them, so I order
an towtuck and pick up the car and drag it to Houston
If you need references for my reliability, so you can see on my feedback on
Ebay, where I have 100%

1.I have paid with banköverförig in most cases, and always worked well, the bank will help you to SWIFT code, bank account and more, you need not
disclose your personal account number, the bank will help you.
2nd The shipment will help a Swedish company with me in Houston, (North
Traffic) and they have a collaboration with:

I definitely don't want a good deal to slip away from me, but I also don't want to get in the middle of a huge headache, either. What are the proper steps that need to be taken in order to ensure that once money is transferred, it can in no way be reversed or my account information used in an unacceptable manner? Someone enlighten me, please! Drive safely and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
