if she uses a US SIM card with a US number I think the cost is the same as a domestic incoming call if someone from France calls her in the US. Call up a typical US carrier, e.g. T-Mobile, AT&T and inquire about the cost of incoming international calls on a prepaid SIM cards. Of course the other party would incur an international call.
If she keeps her France SIM card in her phone, it would cost her a bundle in calling as everything would be roaming.
If she is going to be here only two weeks, ask her parents to call your land line and have her use your land line to call home.
She can of course call anyone in the US using her unlocked phone with a US SIM card and the cost would be minimal.
