Well, there have been some heart breaking automobile loses in my time. I had an 86 Mustang GT with t-tops, and a 72 Porsche 914 while in high school. Both of these cars were so much fun, and looked very cool (IMHO). Sadly, the 914 was a rust bucket. The wheels and interior were more valuable than the car itself. The 914 dropped a valve my senior year of high school, so I put it in storage. I found the 86 Mustang shortly thereafter, and that was my pride and joy for a while. Years later, the Mustang was striped by some scumbags where I had it stored, so I guess that partially counts. I lost the 914 due to an overdue storage bill while in college 9 years ago. The challenger was a recent acquisition, but I sold it last summer. Though only a 318 car, it was complete and solid with a numbers matching engine/trans. To this day I lose sleep over all three.

On a positive note, I still have all of my Saabs. These won't be going anywhere!
