I'm fairly sure that if the Ferrari is still in warranty, the owner is obligated to take the car to Ferrari for the oil change in order to keep the warranty valid. Certain Ferrari models must, according to warranty terms, use oil provided by the factory at about $70 per quart. My first Saab, many years ago, was purchased at a dealer who sold four lines of cars, Saabs being his low-line entry-level car. The other three models were Aston-Martin, Lamborghini, and Ferrari. I used to enjoy taking my car in for service and waiting for it......just watching the Ferrari techs was a treat. They were so careful, patient, and obviously proud of their talent and vocation.
