I am planning to put up a fence in my backyard. The two choice materials are pressure treated wood and cedar. No, chainlink or other materials are not really an option. I am trying to decide which one is the better option. Right now the price difference for two bids I got is minimal.
I have read that the best option is a combination of both, but again it's not an option here.
Which material would you go with? why?
I also read somewhere that the chemicals in the PT wood may leak into the ground and if I have a garden may go into my food...is that true? or is that just too crazy?
