Orbit Sprinkler System Impact Splash Guard with Pegs 53161: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VJDXHC/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000VJDXHC&linkCode=as2&tag=thesaabnetwork
They look pretty cheap. The sprinklers do seem to pop up, perhaps barely though...I'll have to see them in action sometime. I suppose the landlord can just remove/re-insert the shield when mowing the lawn to earn that rent money.
Now the question is if I should go buy them myself, or ask them to pick a few up...they don't seem to cost very much, although the landlords think that renting out their upstairs is a proposition that requires no investment on their own part and is a 100% revenue generating operation.
