Hailing from the most corrupt state in the Union, things were pretty worrying for a while with sheets of rain pouring down in torrents, howling winds, and tornado warnings posted across the area. A large tree blew down on the other side of the road which brought emergency crews with chainsaws out during the storm. Fortunately it missed hitting any power lines and we didn't lose power. (Another tree down the road did take out power on the other side of town.)
We're counting our blessings here, especially after seeing photos of the area where a tornado touched down in Delaware. We have small branches strewn all over the property and of course pools of water all over the place but that's about the extent of it. The Saabs came through unscathed with no apparent water leaks.
