So if this really is happening, how are bids done? I'm just curious. I translated the page and it said one must submit a bid? I guess it's the highest bid that wins (a silent auction?).
It's weird to see this happening. All these peeps care about is to make money, like when the banks takes over your house. No feelings to their national heritage.
I've seen the SAAB SVO in so many photos and it's like one of those things that you think you'd never see. Almost like this incredible piece that's impossible to touch (I mean this for every car, just that the SVO holds a special place (as do all!)). And now, after seeing it in magazines, photos all over, it's there for sale. Pretty hard to believe.
I remember thinking if I ever had to get rid of my car for whatever reason, I'd just donate it do the SAAB museum rather than see it driven to the ground. I have a pretty rare Viggen and thought it'd be cool to have it there than anywhere else. Wow, never did I think THIS would happen.
I hope we wake from this terrible nightmare!
