Its replaceable... Posted by Johnson [Email] (#3237) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Johnson) on Wed, 24 Oct 2012 04:50:55 In Reply to: Non-replaceable Li-Ion battery, Tim, Tue, 23 Oct 2012 16:25:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
it just doesn't have a back that pops off. you have to remove two screws on the bottom, and a 3rd screw that holds the battery connecter into place: replace time about 8 minutes. I've replaced the front and rear glass on mine a few times due to breakage. it was black orinially, then blue, then green, now orange.
I did this, got an iphone 4 used off ebay over a year ago, and used it till two weeks ago when i got a new toy (pre 3) just for a change. I NEVER buy a phone under contract. just buy them off other people. the big big big thing, because verizon is CDMA, get the MEID off the person, and verify with verizon it is not on the lost stolen list, or the non pay disco list. (where the person's line was disco'd for non pay) if they are on that list, then you cannot activate it. period, unless it gets taken off (very rare) you should be able to request the esn from the seller, and verify with verizon before purchase. make sure they check both lists. i usually go with a seller that has a 14 day return policy. i pay a bit more per phone, but i know if I have a problem i can return it.
