"Premium Load" Catalytic Converter Posted by Gene N [Email] (#1094) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gene N) on Thu, 17 Jan 2013 06:23:18 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So, I'm looking for a new catalytic converter for my wife's Honda Accord (1998 V6, 230K miles), and I came accross two Bosal models. One is a "Standard Load" and the other is a "Premium Load" for $50 more. The Bosal web site is uniformative as to what this terminalogy means.
Some threads have indicated that aftermarket converters can go bad in as little as 30K miles. Does anyone know if the "Premium Load" converter has more catalytic goodness (platinum), or is it just a shinier case and a longer warranty?
Of course 30K miles might be long enough for this car.
