I would stick with straight R134a and stay away from sealers. From what I have read sealers make a real mess of things if you ever have to open up the system to work on it later. (They work by reacting with moisture in the air at the leak point. Open up the system and the stuff hardens wherever it happens to be.)
Last time I checked, small cans of regular R134a were available at Wally Mart for $10 per can.
