I'm the odd ball, I much prefer bags Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 3 Jan 2014 15:59:55 In Reply to: Dyson Vacuums?, EGD [Profile/Gallery] , Thu, 2 Jan 2014 13:05:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My experience with bagless vacuums is that dumping the cannister results in being engulfed in a cloud of choking dust. And all bagless vacuums still require filters to be changed or washed regularly.
On the flip side, a bag style vacuum traps all the dirt and dust in a convenient disposable container that also serves as the filtration. Hence, you get a brand new filter with every change out of the bag.
How about the Dyson Air Knife hand dryer? Looks like a great idea until you realize there is no drain in the dryer, and all the water the air jets strip from your hands merely piddles out of the dryer onto the restroom floors where it becomes a slip and fall hazard.
