Good question and part of my search for experience with these. Made from recycled tires, a 16 foot wide drive requires four sections, each section weighs 50 pounds, and all sections are bolted together. The ramp has a water channel on the underside so it will not act as a dam and then end sections have tapered ends so Mail trucks can ride up and over.
Driveway slope is not the issue. Problem is vertical height from curb pan to drive, compounded by an asphalt overlay of the street which has the car nose pitched downward when the tires are on the curb pan causing a low nose or spoiler to strike and drag on the drive.
