Does this SAAB dealer not want to sell me a car?

I emailed a SAAB dealer that is several states away about a car I saw they had listed on cars.com. I asked various specific questions about the car's condition, carfax, etc as I am located a good few hours away and wanted to see if it was worth my time to go check it out. I get back answers to about half of my questions. (I hate when people do that...why do people do that?)
We exchange emails a few more times. In my most recent email I ask if it would be possible to see close up photos of several parts of the body/interior, and I ask again to see the carfax. I say I am serious about the car, but need to see these things before I'd be willing to make a trip from Long Island up to New England. I also ask how flexible they are on price (price is about $4k above "book", and I first saw the car listed on their lot back in early February). I didn't mention any price (I said I'd need to see the car to decide what to offer)...I just asked how firm they were.
The reply to my request for additional photos, carfax, and my question about the price was "I am firm on the price".
The attention to detail in their correspondence is not encouraging - attention to detail is especially important when buying a car long distance. Do they not want to sell me the car? Or am I not giving them the benefit of the doubt? I can't imagine they are too busy to answer my well thought-out emails with more than 5 words.
I really can't call and speak at the length I would want to during working hours, so polite, detailed emails has been my preferred correspondence with them...is that not the right means of communication? Why post the car for sale online if the staff is not email savvy?
I probably will just continue my search elsewhere, since it leaves me uneasy about their aptitude...I was just shocked at the seeming lack of enthusiasm by a used SAAB dealer regarding cars that have been on their lot for a long time when contacted by a potential customer who is clearly an enthusiast asking reasonable questions.
