and there are several chains which provide the treatments. I'm curious why it isn't more widespread in the Northeast?
I had my '96 9000 Aero done by a chain called "Dinitrol" right after I got it. They remove all fender liners etc and thoroughly pressure clean all surfaces + remove any residue of old treatments. Then they dry it, inspect for any rust and spray a special wax into all cavities (+ drill holes for entry). Mechanical parts in the suspension get a thin wear resistant coating and the rest of the bottom gets a thick wear resistant coating.
In spite of being a daily driver for ~4 winters with heavy salting, my Aero doesn't have any rust except for in a rear door that was damaged by the previous owner. The underbody looks amazing and the brake lines are original...
