I failed inspection today on my 2006 9-3 aero because of window tint. I have had the same tint for the past 5 yrs and had no problem. The inspector said the law is 35% and mine is 33%. I believe I'm fine as when I had the tint installed originally it was 35% so I'm thinking the inspector's gear may have been off a bit but I don't know enough about the test itself to get any further than my initial pushing on a 2% variation. Any suggestions on good places on the south shore of Boston? Specifically in the norwell, Hanover, marshfield areas? I'm not going to get it removed at this point so just need to get through the test but the same place is not an option for me.

Btw, I'm not even going to start about how SUVs from the factory have darker tint in the rear and are allowed by law...so I'm not buying the "safety" of officers argument.
