When I was in college, you could call up a place that delivered cars and get a car to drive from pint a to point b. Mostly newish cars. What you got was kind of random -- we got one that broke down 2/3rds of the way there, a friend of ours got a wonderful new Mercedes. No idea if these
exist any more.
I'm interested in what you find out -- I've been kicking around the idea of a cross-country drive to see family on the west coast, but the whole 6000 miles is a bit daunting. I'd rather take my own car one way, tour around, then hop on a plane and have my car magically get home on it's on, but I suspect that's prohibitively expensive.
