Sure, I was just responding to why 3 or 4 trucks are F-series... they sell mountains of them.
Around here, it's probably split 50/50, but what I find interesting is that I see relatively few older Chevys and quite a few older Fords. The number of 9th gen Fords on the road alone here is impressive to me.
That was the last generation where I feel Ford was really better than the alternatives... in the late '90s with the new Dodge Cummins and Vortec Chevys Ford has real competition. It wasn't for another 10 years or so that Ford seemed to really earn that place back. If you're buying ~ '95-'05 - I'd buy a Chevy hands down. Before or after that, it's probably a tossup.
From a Saab owner's perspective, one reason to choose Chevy would be Tech 2... that cheap China clone will work on your Saab and your pickup, and that's great. For me, it works on my Saabs, my SUV (Suburban), and even my motorhome (P30)!
