Re: BAT still does Classifieds? BAT does not do their own classifieds, if by "classifieds" one means a car advertised at a set price. The main focus of the site currently is on the auctions that they run - and they get a cut of the proceeds, like most other live auctions and auction websites. They are quite selective about what they will post for auction, i.e. you have to apply and the car has to be "interesting" in some way: they will not post a five year old Hyundai, unless it was some super-special, not generally available factory prototype with a back story. The linked SAAB 9000 Aero is the first 9000 that I recall seeing, and one has to admit that it is a spectacular example of a car familiar to many of us here. Also, if you are looking for a Porsche 356 that is rusted almost beyond repair (but has a valid VIN plate!), that's their forte.
Yes, they do occasionally link to a very interesting car posted somewhere on Craigslist, Kijiji (Canadian site), etc, but they appear to do that mostly for curiosity's sake.
