I've looked at all the same ads.
The 9-5 wagon is interesting, but in Ottawa it might as well be on another planet (I'm on the other side of London).
The NG9-5 ones look overpriced to me, even if I was risk tolerant enough to take on a red headed step child of an orphan brand.
The '11 9-3 manual is tempting, but they're selling it uncertified; if it was closer I could take it to a place to get checked out. I wasn't particularly enamoured with my '06 9-3. It was an auto, but that aside I found it a little small inside and otherwise just kinda "meh".
The '08 9-5 sedan I'm considering; would be more enticing if it was a manual or a wagon.
There's an '03 9-5 manual for half the price of the '08 above that tempts me. If it turns out to be a mistake, $3000 isn't a huge price to pay.
There's also an '07 9-3 auto, only 107kkm. This would basically exactly replace my wrecked car, but way fewer km. I could re-use my spare rims, the roof bars, trailer hitch, have a spare brand new ECU in the trunk.
I did just find out that I can return the rental to a different branch, as long as it's within a week of today. So that makes going out of town more reasonable, but I'm still not driving to Ottawa.
