9-2x Rotors

What front rotors are working well on your 9-2x? I'm looking for 2011 base Impreza rotors that seem to be the same fitment. Whatever is on the car has developed intermittent vibrations at high speed. Apparently pad deposits may be more common on Japanese cars. Are there any non-Chinese cast rotor options other than Mountain (Japan) and DBA (Australia)? I don't think I need the extra features of the DBA (though G3500 cast iron would be better than G3000) and the Mountain are presently hard to find (can't determine if they are G3500). The Mountain part might or might not cross reference with a Brembo part as WorldPac lists them as the same, and rotors are heavy to have to ship back.
Which pads are working well? I don't know if the 9-2x uses the same pads as this Impreza, but the braking performance is probably similar. I'm considering the Akebono ProACT versus the ASP line. The Raybestos Element3 might be a better option at about half the cost provided it doesn't trash the rotors. That hybrid compound is supposedly less likley to leave pad deposits than an all ceramic pad. I've mostly used Akebono pads on the 9-5 and it seems the ASP line is closer to the Euro line as both are DOT GG rated while the ProACT is FF rated.
