It's not that unusual to have different models carry part of the same name simultaneously. In recent times, Nissan has had the Rogue and Rogue Sport. Mitsubishi has had the Outlander and Outlander Sport. Buick has had the Encore and Encore GX. Ford has had the Transit and Transit Connect, Bronco and Bronco Sport, Mustang and Mustang Mach-E. Ram has had the ProMaster and ProMaster City. There are probably others.
In the past, Oldsmobile sold multiple models under the "Cutlass" name e.g., Cutlass Calais (N-Body), Cutlass Ciera (A-Body), and Cutlass Supreme (G-Body). Buick sold FWD Electra and LeSabre coupes/sedans alongside RWD Electra and LeSabre wagons. Chevrolet had the Lumina (coupe/sedan) and Lumina APV (minivan). Cadillac had the Fleetwood (FWD) and Fleetwood Brougham (RWD). Chrysler had the New Yorker (FWD) and New Yorker Fifth Avenue (RWD) as well as LeBaron and LeBaron GTS. Dodge and Plymouth had Colt and Colt Vista. Ford had LTD (midsize) and LTD Crown Victoria (fullsize), Bronco and Bronco II, LTD and LTD II. There were others.
