I drove an acura legend 3.2 TL that had the tiptronic-automatic.
I only drove the car for 10 minutes. I believe you need at least a week to "learn" how to work the gears. I found myself looking at the gauge to see what gear I was in, and moving the stick in the wrong direction. After a couple of mis-shifts I just threw it back into full-auto and nailed the gas.
At least with a stick, you know what gear you are in at all times.
If you push the stick in 3rd, you remember pushing the stick in 3rd.
With the auto you just push down to go up a gear and up to go down a gear. I'm missing the up-down-up-down part of shifting through the gears.
