Most likely the car has a clear coat finish. Since the spots appears as dimples on the upper most surface level it most likely is caused by airborne contamination / acid rain. This affect can be compounded if the car is exposed to morning dew and intense sunshine.
The paint should be inspected with a jewlers type optic device by the manufacturer rep to clearly identify what has occurred. Possibly it can be polished out but a clearcost finish is rather thin and care must be exercised not to remove the clearcoat finish or cause swirling.
A car is typically not warranted against damage from acid rain although possibly it can be covered by your insurance. Although I would try other solutions prior to re-painting the car - - typically it is very difficult to replicate a new car finish in a paint shop.
