I assume you mean with an automatic. For years I used to left brake whenever I drove an automatic. It wasn't really deliberate on my part but came naturally. I remember my drivers education teacher kept telling me not to and that I would have trouble learning to drive a manual. However, it never posed a problem and I was able to easily go between manual transmission cars and right foot braking and automatic transmission cars and left foot braking.
However, in recent years, on the very rare occasion that I drive an automatic, I seldom seem to resort to left foot braking. I drive automatics so seldom that I think my natural left foot instinct is finally pretty much dead.
I remember seeing an interview with Eric Carlson a few years ago in which he indicated that left foot braking is something that should be left to the 'rally boys' as it is far more difficult for most people to precisely brake with their left foot. I tend agree.
