Whenever I've washed my metallic silver 9-5 Aero (which happens more rarely than some people would consider appropriate ...) the word on the grapevine among the local pigeons seems to be "hey, there's a newly washed metallic silver 9-5 Aero down there; let's all go and shit on it ..."!
My car gets more bird shit in one day when it's clean than it does in three weeks when it's covered in dust!
Anyone else have that problem? Is it the colour that attracts them or what? It seems rather counterproductive to clean the car - I mean bird shit is much more harmful to the paint than dust ...
