Friday night I went to see U2 at the Fleet Center again, as I had gone on Tuesday. This time, however, I had General Admission floor tickets and I left straight from school to get in line early. It paid off.

I ended up being about 10 feet from Adam Clayton, 20 feet from Bono, and 30 feet from Mr. The Edge. For those of you who have been to the concert I was "in the heart." Rocking show, except there were too many drunken behemoths that I had to protect my female friend from. The boozing really ruined the show for me in some ways, as I had to spend time worrying about the lushes all around me instead of taking in the fact that I was 20 feet from the biggest rock band in the world. Sad state of affairs. Either way...for those of you who missed out on it, the Elevation Tour is coming back through America in the fall on its way to Australia. GET TICKETS! DO ANYTHING TO GET TICKETS! Sell your house, your first born son (maybe not your Saab though). Do anything to get tickets to these shows, they are better than anything I have ever done, and perhaps next time around not everybody will be totally $h!t faced.
